Why book with us?
We started it all with this particular type of boats on Lake Travis. We have our own private marina with more double deckers than any other company. We still go to Devil's Cove or anywhere else requested within reason. We are one of the only full service companies offering not only boats but transport, food, servers, and lodging.
Can I bring my own food?
Yes at no additional cost and the captain will still cook for you.
Can we use the grill?
The captain will cook for you but if you prefer you can use the grill. The grill can not be used for the public lake cruise because the boat has to be anchored to use the grill and the cruise don't typically anchor.
Is a server necessary?
No, but it makes it more fun and that much easier for you to get a drink without getting out of the water if you are floating and relaxing.
Do you provide ice/coolers?
Yes there is a large cooler on each boat and you can buy ice at our ship store on site so it doesn't melt on the way in.
Do you have floats/lily pads?
Yes we sell or rent floats from our ship store on site, we also have an air compressor to blow up any floats you bring. Each rental does come with a lily pad included.
What should I bring?
Your booze, sunscreen, towels(if wanted), waters, and a camera to capture all the good times you are going to have!
Do you check ID?
No, but there is a waiver for everyone to sign.
What NOT to bring:
Leave anything expensive and travel documents at home, recovering those from the bottom of the lake will be almost impossible.
Parking?
We have onsite parking at $10 per car, space is limited so we ask that you try and carpool as much as possible. You can have other transport services, Ubers, Lyft, etc drop you off, however they can not park onsite. Use Austin's Boat Tours in your map search when navigating to the marina.
What to wear?
Swim attire, comfy summer wear and water safe shoes. There is a bit of a walk down to the dock so heels are not a good idea.
Is there a bathroom on the boat?
There is a toilet, one of the back seats pop up with a canopy around it for privacy.
How do we play music?
The boats have a built in sound system and music can be played via bluetooth or aux cord.
What is the round trip transportation?
It picks you up from your place and brings you out to the marina, once your charter is done it takes you back home. The listed price includes the round trip to and from and also included the
Does the transportation make any stops?
The driver can stop at a liquor store or gas station on the way to the marina as long as time allows. If a stop is made and it cuts into your boat time that time is not made up by Austin's Boat Tours. No stops are typically made on the way back from the marina.
Can I book the boat now and add the additional services later?
Yes, you have up to 7 days prior to your reservation to add on any of the other services. However the transportation is first come first serve and may or may not be available when you try and add it at a later date.
