We have 10 boats of the same size and type, differing only in color.
To streamline the check-in process, we have divided the schedule into three shifts:

• The 1st shift boats return at 2:45 PM for the AM session and start at 3:00 PM for the PM session.

• The 2nd shift boats return at 3:15 PM for the AM session and start at 3:30 PM for the PM session.

• The 3rd shift boats return at 3:45 PM for the AM session and start at 4:00 PM for the PM session.

You can choose the start time for all AM shifts and the end time for all PM shifts if you want more than the 4-hour minimum. All 8-hour shifts have set times when booking, but we can be flexible with the timing since you will have the boat for the entire day.

Need To Know

Deposit and Pricing

Lake Cruises are charged per person with the following prices: Adults: $75/person, Children (5-12): $50/person, Children under 5: Free. Cruise times vary depending on the season and daylight savings. During the summer, Lake Cruises are unavailable on Saturdays and holiday weekends (Memorial Day, Labor Day, & 4th of July). Full payment and a 2.5% booking fee are due upon booking. No booking fee applies for phone bookings.

Private Charters require a 4-hour minimum. Prices are as follows: Monday-Thursday: $200/hr, Friday & Sunday: $275/hr, Saturday: $300/hr, holiday weekends: $350/hr. A $400 non-refundable deposit and a 2.5% booking fee are due at booking. The deposit applies to the balance, with the remainder due on the reservation day. No booking fee for phone bookings.

A 20% captain’s fee will be added to all reservations. This fee covers the captain’s services, with no additional tipping required. However, if you feel your captain went above and beyond, you can tip them directly via cash, PayPal, or Venmo.

Weather Policy

We have a rain or shine policy, we only cancel if the water is unsafe to be on. Because the weather changes so often we do not make any weather cancellation calls until the day of. If we do have to cancel we can try to move you to a different day if available, but if that can not be done your deposit and/or any other payments will be refunded. If you happen to be on a charter when bad weather rolls in we can bring you back to the marina and have a dock party, and if the weather clears we can take you back out to finish up your time if you have any left. If you don’t want to chance it and the weather seems nicer the day before or after your scheduled charter day you are welcome to call and see if we can move your reservation to one of those days. Lastly if our boats are still going out but you decided you don’t want to do the charter, you are still responsible for full payment of your charter.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation BY YOU -If you decide to cancel the booking for any reason, you must advise us immediately, via email to info@austinsboattours.com. Depending on the reason and timing of the cancellation, you may be responsible for cancellation charges stated below. The date we receive the written notice via email to info@austinsbouttours.com shall be the effective cancellation date. Cancellation fees are as follows:
*Cancellation more than 14 days before the tour date – Loss of deposit, with a deposit credit held for up to one year. Any other payments can be refunded. *Less than 14 days before the tour date – Loss of 100% of the total price, with a full credit to be held for up to a year. *36 hours or less before the Tour – Loss of 100% of the total price, NO credit to be held.
All matters may be subject to be sent to a collection agency for the outstanding balance. In the event you expect to have a delay or late arrival before your tour, you must advise us by phone (512-476-2628) as soon as possible. If you do not advise us in a reasonable time we will consider it a cancellation by you. We will offer you the option to join us at a later time on the same day or on another day within the period booked (depending upon boat availability) Austin’s Boat Tours is not liable for any of your boat time lost due to late arrival caused by you and no refund will be given.
Cancellation BY Austin’s Boat Tours –There may be a circumstance where we may have to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances. Some reasons may be adverse weather, lake conditions, lake closures and/or disruptions, circumstances beyond our reasonable control and predictability. If for any the above circumstances Austin’s Boat Tours has to cancel your tour, we can try to reschedule for another time or day. If this is not an option the deposit and any other service paid for and not used will be refunded to you. No monetary compensations will be made by Austin’s Boat Tours on top of your refund. If cancelled after commencement of your tour (due to reasons stated above), a refund will be prorated to the amount of time lost after cancellation. During your tour if at any time the health, safety and/or well being of any Austin’s Boat Tours contractors, staff, and/or other customers is in danger or in anyway compromised by the direct result of you and/or your guest, Austin’s Boat Tours reserves the right to terminate the booking immediately and as such the contract agreement will be deemed complete and no type of refund or compensation will be given.

Boat Rules

In order for all of us to have a really great time on the water there are a few things that need to be followed, a full list is posted on our boats as well.
  • Swimming: Captains are NOT lifeguards. Guests are welcome to swim at their own risk
  • Illegal Drugs are Prohibited
  • Children under 13 years of age MUST wear a life jacket while the boat is in motion
  • Adult life jackets are provided, we ask that you bring your own child life jackets to ensure a proper fit.
  • Inappropriate fighting or arguing is not allowed so please leave the drama with your mama so everyone has a blast and is in good spirits
  • A waiver must be signed prior to departure
  • Please practice safe swimming, jumping off board, and going down the slides or staircases at all times.
  • All alcohol is BYOB and no underage drinking is allowed
  • Please do not smoke onboard the boat
  • No littering in the lake and/or marina property
